Shift Supervisor (OPWDD)

Job Summary
Provide supervision to staff during shifts including assigning responsibilities and ensuring program compliance with regulations and agency policies. Monitor individuals’ health, diet, and safety; assist in training staff; model appropriate interactions; and complete required documentation. Requires a High School Diploma, with preference for an Associates or Bachelor’s degree, and 2 years’ experience in related programs. Must possess management, organizational, communication skills, and computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid New York state driving license
Desired Qualifications
- Associates/bachelor’s degree preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of OPWDD regulations
- Good management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Computer literate
