Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise production activities on the assigned shift to meet budgeted objectives safely and efficiently. Monitor and manage Adjustor Supervisors, warehouse personnel, and 50 indirect hourly employees to ensure schedule adherence and Company standards. Demonstrate leadership by providing expectations, tools, and timely feedback to team members while promoting a safe work environment and Good Manufacturing Practices. Responsible for daily manning, machine assignment, and equipment performance monitoring to achieve optimum schedule requirements. Track production records, develop corrective action plans for variances, and minimize waste through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving. Ensure all safety policies are adhered to and communicate effectively with plant management to address issues and meet overall plant objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 5 years experience as an Adjuster Supervisor
- 3-5 years successful experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- Keen eyesight (no colorblindness)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Solid communication and supervisory skills
- General math skills
- Organizational management skills
- Record keeping skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software
