Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at Papa Murphy’s franchise: responsible for all facets of the assigned shift, supervising team members to ensure guest service, food quality, sanitation, safety, and security; manage cash handling, shift paperwork, and daily/ opening & closing duties; supervise and train staff, coordinate with store manager in absence, and perform bank deposits. Requires ensuring adherence to labor laws and company procedures, maintaining product prep levels (proofed crusts, pre-rush readiness), operating POS and handling customer issues, and contributing to store financials with knowledge of labor cost and food cost analysis. Qualifications include at least six months in a QSR environment, strong communication and customer service skills, basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and preferred certifications (Food Handlers Card/Serve Safe). Benefits include health/dental insurance eligible and employee discounts. Tips are included in the listed wage range; maximum hourly rate including tips is $21.63.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- At least six months experience in QSR environment
- Food Handlers Card and/or Serve Safe Certified preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read and apply fundamental math skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, POS)
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to manage various difficult or emotional customer situations
