Job Summary
Ensure goods are produced and packaged in correct quantities by performing mold changes with Machine Operators and maintaining product quality. Accurately record production output, problems encountered, and employee time and attendance to facilitate smooth shift changeovers. Lead the team by assessing training needs, ensuring adequate staffing for absences, conducting performance evaluations, and maintaining good housekeeping. Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA standards while attending meetings with the Production Manager to address employee concerns.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical engineering background
- Supervisory experience
- Plastics industry experience
- Good process knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Ability to train personnel
- 12-hour shifts from 6 pm to 6:30am on a 2-2-3 rotation
- Working every other weekend
- Open to start initial training on 8-hour dayshifts, Monday through Friday
- Regularly stand, walk, reach with hands and arms
- Very occasionally climb or balance
- Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Talk or hear
- Occasionally sit
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs
- Close vision
- Act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA)
