Job Summary
Supervise and support Mentors during shifts, assigning responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth operations. Partner with HR to identify, hire, and onboard candidates, guiding new hires through structured on-shift orientations. Facilitate weekly training sessions, provide ongoing coaching, and monitor staff performance with formal quarterly reviews. Address performance issues professionally using structured disciplinary protocols and advocate for your shift during interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings. Conduct quarterly safety drills to maintain a secure environment and share key updates during handoffs. Lead by example with strong teaching and team-building skills while managing crisis situations. Commit to a minimum of 8 months and obtain a Food Handler's Permit. Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+
- hold a high school diploma (or equivalent)
- a valid driver's license with a clean record
- pass a Utah State background check
- Willing to commit for a minimum of 8 months
- obtain a Food Handler's Permit before starting
- Well-versed in company policies, hiring and disciplinary procedures, and Mentor responsibilities
- Understands student challenges, behavioral disorders, and medication protocols
- Leads by example with strong teaching, motivational, and team-building skills
- Works effectively with interdisciplinary teams including therapists and nurses
- Skilled in communication, prioritization, and safely managing crisis situations when needed
- Must be available for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 2pm-12am + every other Sunday as needed
