Job Summary
Lead restaurant operations by assisting in day-to-day leadership, managing key performance indicators for financial and non-financial results, and ensuring maximum efficiency within the assigned labour budget. Resolve guest complaints, identify root causes of satisfaction gaps, and coach Q-Crew to deliver consistent food quality and an inviting atmosphere. Maintain adherence to operating procedures including safe food handling, inventory counts, and daily checklists while executing marketing action plans and special promotion rollouts. Ensure compliance with provincial legislation regarding health and safety, human rights, and responsible alcohol service. Prepare daily deposits, conduct safe audits, and participate in training for hourly staff to foster a culture of recognition and team engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hospitality setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with the restaurant team and Guests
- Knowledge of Point of Sale Systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing competing priorities
- Ability to understand the perfect guest experience and anticipate the needs of the guest prior to receiving requests
- Mediation and facilitation skills in order to ensure Guest and Q-Crew related concerns are dealt with immediately and effectively
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment
