Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at MOD Pizza leads restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, trains and mentors new hires, and supports program rollouts and standards to ensure guest experiences and smooth operations. You will supervise the squad, deploy team members to the right tasks, provide feedback, and model MOD’s purpose in all interactions while maintaining safety and quality through tools and procedures, including inventory, online ordering, catering, fundraising, and customer review systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
- Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
- Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
- Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
- You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
- You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
- Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week. This will include peak demand hours as determined by General Manager or District Manager.
