Job Summary
Lead shift operations by deploying the right squad members to support guests, completing deployment charts, and adjusting staffing throughout the day. Train newly hired and promoted staff, guide program rollouts, and ensure operating systems and equipment meet restaurant goals. Maintain food safety standards in both back and front of house, resolve guest and squad concerns, and escalate issues as needed. Manage shift cash accurately, take inventory, place orders, and adhere to all opening, midday, and closing checklists. Stay updated on Slice communications and communicate critical information to the team. Model MOD's purpose in all interactions while prioritizing peak demand hours.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience
- demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader
- proven ability to prioritize and make decisions
- at least 18 years old
- proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner
- ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume
- food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law
- proficient in written and oral communication
- support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week
