Job Summary
Oversee shift operations and supervise Security Monitors while conducting random room searches, pat searches, and breathalyzer tests. Plan, conduct, and facilitate organizational trainings, ensuring staff complete required hours on duties and safety protocols. Monitor facility grounds for hazards, review logs for accuracy, and delegate tasks including resident counts and audits. Delegate random room searches, pat searches, and walk-throughs to monitors while counseling staff as needed. Inform Program Director of facility issues and ensure daily information is passed to the next shift. Complete annual training and comply with federal and state regulations. Available to work any shift, any time, any day.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- One year of experience in the reentry/correctional field
- One year supervisory experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to articulate professionally, verbally and in writing
- Valid driver's license
- Social security card issued by the U.S. Social Security Administration
- United States citizen, permanent resident, or other person lawfully admitted into the United States
- Ability to pass federal background check
- Problem solving, planning and prioritizing
- Public speaking
- Communication skills – written and verbal
- Information gathering and monitoring
- Flexibility, adaptability, teamwork and customer service orientated

Desired Qualifications
- Experience tracking and facilitating classes/training
- Experience in a correctional field or supervisory experience (may be waived based on approval from the CFO, COO or Human Resources but not both)
