Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut oversees store operations during assigned shift, opens and closes the retail store, delegates work to associates, delivers excellent customer service, handles complaints and refunds, processes sales at the POS, performs stock/merchandising tasks, and records inventory and daily financial reports while leading and directing team members to ensure the store runs smoothly and supports the organization’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or the equivalent
- One year experience in retail sales performing cashiering, customer service, display, shipping/receiving, and inventory duties
- Ability to lead and direct Team Members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and ability to operate register
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to work day, evening, and weekend shifts
