Job Summary
Shift Supervisor overseeing store operations during assigned shift, including opening/closing the store, delegating tasks to associates, delivering excellent customer service, handling complaints and refunds, operating the POS system, performing stock duties, recording inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized storefront. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of retail experience in cashiering, customer service, display, shipping/receiving, and inventory. Must be able to lead and direct team members, perform basic math for cash handling, operate the register, and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift over 40 pounds; must be available for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Responsibilities also include completing daily documentation and financial reports and supporting merchandise promotion and checkout activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or the equivalent
- One year experience in retail sales performing cashiering, customer service, display, shipping/receiving, and inventory duties
- Ability to lead and direct Team Members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and ability to operate register
- Prepared for standing, lifting up to 40 pounds
- Exposure to inclement weather
- Availability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts
