Job Summary
Shift Supervisor oversees the restaurant when management is unavailable, ensures Elmer’s standards and service steps are followed, engaging positively with guests to ensure satisfaction. Leads front-of-house and back-of-house teams, monitors food quality and service through line and ambiance checks, provides guidance for improvement, and reports performance issues to the General Manager. Demonstrates leadership, motivates teammates, coordinates opening/shift/closing tasks, balances cash drawers, and accommodates guests’ needs while maintaining a family-oriented, guest-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Food Handler’s Card
- Must have a valid Alcohol Server Permit
- Be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location and of the Guests who typically visit the work location.
