Job Summary
Shift Supervisor leads store execution and performance in the absence of management, supervising the crew by directing activities, communicating with management, and ensuring opening/closing procedures are completed. Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining a positive shopping experience, handling customer relations per policy, merchandising and display execution, inventory and pricing of weekly, promotional, and seasonal items, and ensuring store operations run smoothly. The role requires deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication and supervision abilities, and a flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, and weekends. The position is full-time with a typical pay range of $19.00-$28.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits, located in Hicksville, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills
- Advanced communication skills and supervision skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise
- Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
