Job Summary
Shift Supervisor leads the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance in the absence of a manager, oversees customer service and the daily operations including opening/closing procedures, merchandising, inventory, and staff supervision.Responsibilities include supervising the store crew, communicating with management and crews, assisting customers, maintaining customer confidentiality, executing displays and maintaining weekly/promotional merchandise per planograms, and adapting to a flexible schedule including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts. Required skills include deductive reasoning, analytical ability, strong computer and communication skills, and the ability to lead and supervise a team in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills
- Advanced communication skills and supervision skills
- Ability to supervise and direct store staff
- Customer service orientation and ability to handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
- Experience in retail supervisory role preferred
