Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at CPS leading a shift on the Reading and East Greenville campuses with a strong emphasis on safety culture, coaching and developing shift personnel, and ensuring high-quality, compliant operations. Responsibilities include training shift staff, maintaining customer requirements and product quality, providing formal corrective actions for customer VOICEs, ensuring food-safety and defense protocols, optimizing shift performance to meet revenue targets, maintaining production information systems, and ensuring ISO 9001/22000/17025 compliance. The role requires relationship-building, use of EQ techniques, data analysis to identify trends, and effective internal/external communication. Travel is very rare and limited to vendor sites or conferences as needed. A post-high-school degree in business or engineering or related field is preferred, with manufacturing leadership experience highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Post high school degree in Business, an Engineering discipline, or a related field preferred
- Five years of relative experience in Manufacturing Leadership preferred
- Champion and embodiment of CPS Core Values
- Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team, promoting trust and respect
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including proficiency in Office Suite applications
- Ability to multitask and establish priorities in an environment of competing expectations
- Willingness to continue education and personal development for staying up to date with industry, technology, and regulatory requirements
- Desire to be a change agent, not getting discouraged, but persevering through times of conflict
- Flexible and open minded to change while at the same time being able to hold an unwavering position
- Previous experience in developing personnel
- Ability to analyze data, look for trends, and draw conclusions from said data
