Job Summary
Lead shifts as a Shift Supervisor at the Burger King unit inside the South Somerset Travel Plaza. Responsible for guiding team members, ensuring exceptional customer service, and enforcing brand standards and food safety requirements. Train newly hired team members, monitor compliance with cash handling policies, operate the POS system, and manage opening/closing procedures. Oversee food prep tasks, stocking, labeling, dating, temperature checks, and overall cleanliness. Demonstrate strong product knowledge, assist in coaching peers, and actively cross-sell and up-sell products while maintaining attendance and punctuality. Respond to customer concerns, communicate with plaza leadership, and perform other duties as needed in a fast-paced, flexible schedule environment.
Required Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience required
- Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred
