Job Summary
Shift Supervisor assists managers in all phases of restaurant operations, including acting in the manager's absence. Responsible for ensuring prompt, friendly service, maintaining professional image, ensuring food and products are prepared and served per recipes and standards, achieving company objectives for sales and service, managing cash handling and reconciliation, enforcing alcohol-awareness protocols, filling in as needed to maintain guest service standards, ensuring correct product receiving and handling, and enforcing safety and policy compliance. Requires serving and/or bartending experience, Serve Safe and TIPS certifications, strong math skills, and ability to operate a POS system; must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Full-time opportunities with benefits are offered. Availability for weekends and holidays is noted.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Previous serving and/or bartending experience
- Serve Safe certification
- TIPS certification
- Excellent basic math skills
- Ability to operate a cash register or POS system
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 5 hours)
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
- Weekend and holiday availability
