Job Summary
Team Coach (Shift Supervisor) leading daily safety, quality, and standard work for the assigned manufacturing team on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts. Applies TPS/Lean principles to coach operators, manage start-ups, and uphold 5S and visual-management practices while driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include owning safety, quality, delivery, and standard work, leading shift handoffs, coaching on SOPs and problem-solving, ensuring operators are qualified, and supporting onboarding and skill development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, operations, or field execution environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through influence and coaching
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and process discipline
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, problem-rich environments
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Toyota Production System concepts, Preferred
- Prior frontline leadership or coaching experience, Preferred
- Familiarity with standard work, visual management, and problem-solving tools, Preferred
- Background in high-growth or operationally complex environments, Preferred
- 1+ years of Accelevation experience, Preferred
