Job Summary
Shift Supervisor responsible for monitoring and supervising all program activities and assigned staff. Includes record keeping, producing clinical notes and reports, ensuring staff follow policies and procedures, and maintaining security and fire safety of the building. Must attend weekly program meetings and provide emergency first aid/CPR as needed. Role supports care for homeless populations and works in a residential setting; requires strong writing and computer literacy, First Aid and Fire Safety credentials, and Spanish-language skills a plus. Location-based in Manhattan, NY with full-time schedule (Tues-Sat 7am-3:30pm) and a diverse benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- B.A. preferred
- One year supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working with homeless, mentally ill, and substance abuse populations preferred
- Experience working in residential settings preferred
- Very good writing skills and computer literacy required
- First Aid and Fire Safety certification, or ability to pass tests to acquire these credentials, required
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR
