Job Summary
Oversee Community Technicians; assist the Site Coordinator with oversight of departmental tasks and goals including record keeping, statistical reports, unit coverage, and client care/crisis intervention. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Duties also include related tasks as assigned. Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, Tuesday-Saturday 11pm-7:30am in Manhattan, NY. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; supervisory experience preferred; experience with homeless, mentally ill, and substance abuse populations; strong writing and computer skills; First Aid and Fire Safety certification required; CPR training or willingness to obtain; bilingual Spanish a plus; vaccination preferred but not required. Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- B.A. preferred
- One year supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working with homeless, mentally ill, and substance abuse populations preferred
- Experience working in residential settings also preferred
- Very good writing skills and computer literacy required
- First Aid and Fire Safety certification, or ability to pass tests to acquire these credentials, required
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR
