Shift Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Oversee daily shift operations, production schedules, staffing, and quality control while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and a clean work environment. Train and mentor new employees, monitor processes to address bottlenecks, and collaborate with other departments to streamline efficiency. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and analyze complex problems to maintain competitive processes. Requires fluent Spanish skills, 2+ years of supervisory experience in plastics manufacturing, and proficiency with IQMS and MS Office. Works the 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am) with occasional weekends at Pretium Packaging's St. Charles, Illinois plant.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual; the ability speak, read, and write Spanish
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the plastics industry
- In-depth knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A strong presence on the plant floor with the ability to successfully manage across a team of employees with various work styles and personalities
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems that may arise on the shift
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Proficiency with IQMS and with MS Office and other relevant software applications
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish
Desired Qualifications
- blow molding and/or injection molding experience
