Job Summary
Supervise the Community Technicians and assist the Assistant Director of Operations with oversight of departmental tasks and goals. Ensure security and safety of the building, respond to emergency and crisis situations, monitor and report notable events involving clients and staff, and assist clients with activities of daily living. Responsibilities include record keeping, completing statistical reports, unit coverage, conflict management and client care/crisis intervention. Attend regularly scheduled team meetings and case conferences; provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- One year supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with individuals experiencing homelessness and with individuals living with mental illness and substance abuse preferred
- Experience working in residential settings preferred
- Excellent writing skills and computer literacy required
- NYC Fire Safety Certification, CPR Certification a plus or willingness to acquire these certifications/licenses
- Bilingual abilities a plus
