Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at Goodwill Southwest Florida in Cape Coral, FL. Directs workflow, assigns tasks, and ensures merchandise and production standards are met; trains staff on customer service, merchandising, production, and POS/donation procedures; helps achieve store sales, expense, and production goals; enforces safety procedures and mission standards; maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Requires ability to learn POS and donation systems, follow written and oral instructions, and lift up to 40 pounds; comfortable standing for long periods. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of retail sales experience preferred
- Willing to learn how to correctly use all POS and donation systems
- Able to follow oral and written instructions
- Knowledge of business-related mathematics
- Ability to stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items; lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds
- Comfortable with standing for long periods of time and the possibility of occasionally working where temperatures and climate can fluctuate
