Job Summary
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and excellent customer service while managing a shift in a restaurant setting. Responsibilities include ensuring 100% customer satisfaction, compliance with food safety and other regulations, executing Speed of Service goals, and resolving guest complaints. The role requires acting as a role model for the restaurant team, assisting in maintaining performance standards, and facilitating team training. The supervisor must ensure proper product preparation and equipment maintenance while managing employee labor and food costs. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with shift manager and food safety certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, driving record, and state mandated insurance for positions that require driving.
Desired Qualifications
- One year Restaurant experience preferred with proven lead experience on all shifts.
- Shift Manager certified.
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements.
