Job Summary
As Shift Operator at Lubrizol, you will operate equipment and areas in the unit, perform rounds and field quality testing, troubleshoot simple process deviations, follow standard work, and participate in root-cause investigations. You will train new unit personnel, monitor key unit metrics, perform autonomous maintenance, and ensure safety and environmental practices while supporting plant and business goals. Requires basic mechanical aptitude, basic math/reading/computer skills, and strong communication/collaboration abilities. Preferred credentials include Certificate of Process Technology and SAP/Delta-V process knowledge; the role involves a rotating 12-hour schedule, outdoor work in various conditions, and safety-focused operations in a manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
