Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to plan and evaluate care plans while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state licensure and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time 12-hour day shifts with a 5,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
