Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, managing assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary colleagues and families while delivering preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment interventions. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain full RN licensure and practice within state standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Full-time 12-hour day shifts with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
