Job Summary

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize reliability. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities while diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues. Support production changeovers, startup activities, and planned shutdowns, then document all work orders and equipment history in CMMS or SAP systems. Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to implement permanent corrective actions and improve equipment performance. Work a 12-hour 2/2/3 shift schedule with overtime available. Local candidates only; no relocation assistance.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar maintenance software
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Working knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems, bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and motor alignment
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
  • Proficiency using hand tools, precision measuring devices, and maintenance equipment
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, email, SAP, or CMMS systems
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns as business needs require
  • Must be good working on a 12-hour 2/2/3 shift

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or related vocational training
  • Experience with vibration analysis, oil analysis, or predictive maintenance programs
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment
  • Experience using SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or similar enterprise maintenance systems
  • Forklift, aerial lift, or powered industrial vehicle certification
