Job Summary
Shift Mechanic responsible for operation and maintenance of plant utilities (boilers, ponds, chillers, cooling towers, and air compressors) and routine maintenance on process equipment (pumps, agitators, valves). Includes forklift operation, inventory reporting, and ensuring cost control. Requires ability to work rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays) in a 24x7 operation, proficiency with maintenance databases, and strong mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays in a 24X7 operation.
- Must be able to complete work orders in the maintenance database system and ability to complete computer-based training.
- Strong work history that demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, and team player
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
