Job Summary
The Shift Manager is responsible for providing leadership and exceptional customer service while managing restaurant operations during their shift. Duties include executing Speed of Service goals, resolving guest complaints, maintaining compliance with company and government regulations including food safety, and managing employee labor and food costs. The role requires ensuring proper training, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and facilitating teamwork among the restaurant team. Strong communication skills, a focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to make quick business decisions are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year Restaurant experience preferred with proven lead experience on all shifts
- Must be 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Shift Manager certified
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
