Job Summary
As Shift Manager you’ll be part of the management team overseeing daily restaurant operations alongside the Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, and General Manager. You will oversee both the kitchen and dining area to ensure a top quality customer experience, uphold health, safety and food hygiene standards, and lead by example in maturity, professionalism, and integrity. Duties include training and monitoring staff on food safety and health and safety, cash handling and financial record-keeping in the absence of senior management, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and preparation, and collaborating with the management team to achieve sales, costs and performance targets.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year minimum management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to learn and train others in all aspects of Urban operations
- Strong work ethic and ability to inspire team
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong people skills
- Good mathematic ability
- Use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel primarily)
- Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene
- First Aid at Work
