Job Summary
Shift Manager responsible for leading and directing Production Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors, and hourly staff on a 12-hour night shift at The Hershey Company’s West Hershey plant. Drive safe, quality, and cost-effective operations, meet production schedules with minimal downtime, oversee sanitation/CIP/logistics, and manage plant assets for the shift. Key duties include providing visible leadership on the shift, coaching supervisors, coordinating training for new hires, driving problem-solving and incident reporting, ensuring safety and quality initiatives, implementing change and cost-saving programs, and maintaining effective communication across departments. Requires strong leadership, manufacturing knowledge, SAP experience, and ability to manage performance data and production reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or in a high-speed, complex environment
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred
