Job Summary
Shift Manager at SONIC Drive-In responsible for assisting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in daily restaurant operations to ensure quality food, a clean and safe environment, and a positive guest experience. Responsibilities include hiring, training, supervising, directing, and developing team members; coaching for performance; maintaining guest satisfaction; enforcing safety and sanitation standards; ensuring compliance with laws and regulations; managing labor, food, and paper costs; and leading through busy shifts with strong communication and leadership. Requirements include strong leadership and communication, a positive attitude during rushes, willingness to work irregular hours, resiliency, eagerness to learn and grow, prioritization skills, and basic math/reading abilities.
