Shift Manager Security

Job Summary
Manage security operations and shift activities for the casino, ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations and internal safety protocols. Respond to emergencies including fires, medical incidents, and criminal activity while defusing disturbances and handling physical confrontations when necessary. Direct security officers, review performance, and conduct investigations into suspicious situations, gambling violations, and accidents. Maintain daily logs, write detailed security reports, and coordinate with law enforcement and local government agencies. Develop training programs, hire staff, and enforce grooming and uniform standards to uphold operational procedures and workplace safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Two or more years of previous experience in security or law enforcement
- Knowledge of state gaming regulations, safety and security practices and protocols
- Background and knowledge of security operations, Occupational Safety and Health association (OSHA) regulations, safety, investigation, and legal issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership/motivation skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Excellent knowledge in various computers programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Gaming leadership experience preferred
