Job Summary
The Shift Manager is responsible for providing leadership and exceptional customer service while ensuring operational effectiveness during shifts. Key responsibilities include executing Speed of Service goals, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations. The Shift Manager leads the restaurant team by setting performance standards, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring adherence to company policies. They also manage business operations, ensuring proper food preparation, equipment maintenance, and labor management while safeguarding company assets. This role requires a collaborative approach to problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- valid driver’s license
- driving record and state mandated insurance for positions that require driving such as District Manager, Restaurant Training Manager, General Manager, Assistant Manager and Shift Managers
Desired Qualifications
- Shift Manager certification
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- One year Restaurant experience preferred with proven lead experience on all shifts
