Job Summary
Plan duties and responsibilities for each shift, verify compliance of procedures and protocols, and attend to operational problems as they arise. Coach and lead a team with no supervision while assisting the General Manager, and involve yourself in operational and technical training of employees. Open and close the restaurant, assist with inventory and staffing needs, and manage controllables and labor. Maintain overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes. Handle customer complaints and verify customer satisfaction. Work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in similar roles or with customer experience
- Demonstrates strong leadership potential by actively supporting team dynamics
- Committed to guest satisfaction, upholding a guest-first mindset in all interactions
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- Ability to work with computers
- Must follow the company Personal Care and Hygiene policies
- Ability to lift and push 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to work with others
- Sense of urgency
- Attention to details
- Proactively help where it is most needed in the restaurant
