Job Summary
Manage 3-4 associates by providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of store operations and staff. Drive sales through customer service, ensuring all needs are met and concerns are resolved quickly. Build displays, maintain backroom standards, and handle associate and customer issues while enforcing safety policies. Control operating costs, shrinkage, and expenses to ensure maximum profitability. Work nights until seven pm and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work some nights until seven pm and some weekends
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Possess product knowledge of hardware related products
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from customers or associates
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand regularly (Over 2/3 of the time)
- Ability to walk regularly (Over 2/3 of the time)
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel regularly (Over 2/3 of the time)
- Ability to reach with hands and arms regularly (Over 2/3 of the time)
- Ability to climb frequently (Between 1/3 to 2/3 of the time)
