Job Summary
Shift Manager responsible for overseeing daily operations at Newcastle Casino Beverage department. Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff during assigned shifts; train and mentor team to uphold service standards; manage inventory including ordering and receiving supplies; handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints; monitor sales and labor costs and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability; ensure compliance with company policies and maintain a safe, welcoming environment; maintain professional dress standards and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume setting with varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming license.
- Must be able to obtain an ABLE license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality, beverage, or food service industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times by adhering to the establishment's dress code standards, ensuring a polished and professional image is presented to guests.
