Job Summary
Shift Manager at Subway® Team responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience and ensuring great food is prepared and served. Manage cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant, control inventory, schedule and supervise staff, and collaborate as a team player. Lead cascading training for Sandwich Artists on existing and new responsibilities, oversee inventory controls, ensure equipment is functioning properly during shifts, and complete required paperwork. Roles may vary between Full Time and Part Time and different day/evening/weekend shifts depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment
- Essential functions: Communication and organizational skills; ability to operate POS system/cash register; physical ability to bend, stand, walk; lift 10-30 pounds; ability to work any area of the restaurant
- Training: Cascading training to Sandwich Artists on existing and new responsibilities
- Scheduling and supervising staff
- Inventory control standards
- Equipment checks and maintenance
