Job Summary
Shift Manager at Subway responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience, ensuring food is prepared and served to standard, maintaining a clean and functional restaurant, controlling inventory, scheduling and supervising staff, and acting as a team player. Core duties include cascading training to Sandwich Artists on existing and new responsibilities, supervising staff, inventory control, ensuring equipment is in proper working order, and completing paperwork. Education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent; experience: at least 1 year in a restaurant environment. Full-time/part-time and day/evening/weekend shifts vary by location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of restaurant experience
- communication and organizational skills
- physical ability to work all restaurant areas and operate POS
- ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
