Job Summary
Shift Manager at Subway leads day-to-day restaurant operations to deliver an excellent guest experience and high-quality food. Responsibilities include training and cascading responsibilities to Sandwich Artists, scheduling and supervising staff, inventory control, ensuring equipment is functioning, completing paperwork, and maintaining a clean, functional restaurant. Must be able to operate the POS system, bend, stand, walk throughout the shift, and lift up to 30 pounds. Prior restaurant experience (minimum 1 year) and a high school diploma or equivalent are required. Opportunities include brand discounts, scholarships, and university course credits along with hands-on experience in restaurant management. This role includes both full-time and part-time shifts depending on location, with day/evening/weekend availability as needed.
