Job Summary
Shift Manager at Marco’s Pizza oversees daily store operations across all workstations, leads and trains crew, ensures food safety, cash handling, and guest satisfaction, and supports and coaches team members to achieve operational excellence. Responsibilities include supervising shift operations, performing crew tasks when needed (makeline, oven monitoring, packaging, order accuracy, guest service), maintaining a clean and safe store environment, coordinating with drivers and managers for deliveries, ensuring sanitation and safety standards, providing coaching and feedback, assisting with training and setting expectations, resolving shift-related issues, and maintaining accurate product quality and service. The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and delivering an excellent guest experience in line with Marco’s standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required food handler certifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Preferred: Previous experience in food service or restaurant operations, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and kitchen operations
