Job Summary
Shift Manager leads a restaurant unit with 3–15 staff, overseeing assignment, performance evaluation, training, and day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality service and efficient food preparation. Responsible for ordering, receiving, storage, and issuing supplies to minimize waste/theft; supervise preparation and service of food; forecast item usage; manage opening/closing procedures; assist customers at the counter, handle cash drawers, and ensure 100% integrity of systems and procedures. Coordinates deliveries and routing to support delivery operations; maintains world-class customer service and professional conduct. Requires English literacy, ability to prioritize with minimal supervision, conflict resolution with customers and staff, computer skills (Word/Excel), and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment. Familiarity with in-house meat slicing, bread production, and fresh ingredients helps support daily operations and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write and communicate in English
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues
- Ability to handle and resolve employee issues
- Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel)
