Job Summary
As a Shift Manager at Jamba, you will lead the team, ensuring high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety during your shifts. Responsibilities include motivating team members, troubleshooting challenges, and managing operations in the absence of senior leadership. Candidates should have 3–6 months of supervisory experience, flexible availability, and the ability to handle cash. Required skills include the ability to stay active throughout shifts, food handling certification, and basic math and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred
- Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
- TB clearance required
- 0–1 year of food service or retail experience
- Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in cold environments (walk-in fridge/freezer)
- Ability to taste-test products for quality
- Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
Desired Qualifications
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)
- Cash handling and customer service experience
- General knowledge of food service or nutrition terms
