Job Summary
As a Shift Manager at Jamba, you will lead the team, maintaining high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety during your shifts. Your role includes motivating and supporting team members, addressing challenges with team or guest needs, and knowing when to escalate issues. Preferred qualifications include 3–6 months of supervisory experience, food service or retail experience, and a food handler certification. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred
- Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
- TB clearance required
- 0–1 year of food service or retail experience
- Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in cold environments (walk-in fridge/freezer)
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)
- Ability to taste-test products for quality
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
Desired Qualifications
- Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)
- Cash handling and customer service experience
- General knowledge of food service or nutrition terms
