Job Summary
As a Jamba Shift Manager, you will lead the team and be the key decision maker during your shift, ensuring high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety. Responsibilities include motivating and supporting team members, troubleshooting challenges, and knowing when to escalate matters to store leadership. Candidates should have 3–6 months of supervisory experience, flexible scheduling availability, and a high school diploma or equivalent. TB clearance and food handler certification are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred
- Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
- TB clearance required
- 0–1 year of food service or retail experience
- Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in cold environments (walk-in fridge/freezer)
- Ability to taste-test products for quality
- Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
Desired Qualifications
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)
- Cash handling and customer service experience
- General knowledge of food service or nutrition terms
