Job Summary
As a Jamba Shift Manager, you will lead the team during shifts, maintaining high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety. You will motivate team members, troubleshoot challenges, and know how to escalate issues. Preferred qualifications include 3-6 months of supervisory experience, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to manage food service tasks effectively. Job requirements include being 18 years or older, holding a high school diploma or equivalent, and obtaining food handler certification. This role offers key holder opportunities with open/close responsibilities, flexible schedules, and a wage between $11.00 and $12.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred
- Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
- TB clearance required
- 0–1 year of food service or retail experience
- Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)
- Ability to taste-test products for quality
- Cash handling and customer service experience a plus
- Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable working in cold environments
- General knowledge of food service or nutrition terms is a bonus
