Job Summary
As a Shift Manager, you will lead the team and make key decisions during your shifts, ensuring high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety. You will motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, troubleshoot challenges, and escalate matters to store leadership as needed. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, basic math and computer skills, and a food handler certification within 30 days. Previous supervisory experience and food service knowledge are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred
- 0–1 year of food service or retail experience
- Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days)
- Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
- TB clearance required
- Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in cold environments (walk-in fridge/freezer)
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
Desired Qualifications
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems)
- Cash handling and customer service experience
- General knowledge of food service or nutrition terms
