Job Summary
Shift Manager I at HMSHost airport location overseeing restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures, staffing, and ensuring high operational standards. Responsibilities include supervising associates, participating in hiring processes, creating and adjusting schedules, enforcing mandated breaks, maintaining cleanliness and visual appeal, ensuring equipment functionality, handling cash per policies, and monitoring health and safety practices (HACCP) while placing orders and managing vendor relations. Required Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience
- Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
