Job Summary
Freddy’s Shift Manager role supports daily restaurant operations, providing leadership to motivate the team, control labor and food costs, handle guest issues, and model hospitality. Responsibilities include teaching Freddy’s standards of hospitality and cleanliness, leading by example with strong time-management, coaching staff, maintaining performance on the restaurant floor, reducing waste, managing labor, ensuring facilities and equipment are maintained, and fostering vendor relationships to ensure product execution. Requires strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, with ability to operate a POS system and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Natural leadership skills with a self-starting personality and even disposition
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Strong communication skills with guests and team members
- Ability to use a point-of-sale system
- Willingness to jump in and assist co-workers; team-player mentality
- Availability to work a variety of hours (days, nights and weekends) within the local metro area
- Ability to stand or walk for up to a 10-hour shift and lift up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to bend, stoop and occasionally use a ladder
